Position Overview
Creativity is your specialty. They love to create unique pieces of art and brands that incorporate current fashion trends. What motivates you is to stay up to date with the latest print directions and graphics from exhibitions, runways and big influential brands. In this position you will work closely with buyers, fashion designers, manufacturers, printers and factories to create stylish designs that capture the distinctive personality of each brand. This position is based in our head office in Cape Town.
Main Responsibilities
to create branding, all-over printing, and positioning graphics for a range of fabric kinds and clothing designs
To identify important new directions in prints and graphics, research global and local print and fashion trends.
Give designers and buyers advice on how to translate current trends into stylish visuals for the South African market.
Participate in the technical preparation of prints and graphics for manufacturing.
Experience and Qualifications
A degree in Fashion Design, Surface/Textile Design.
Graphic Design or equivalent Knowledge of textile and clothing graphic creation in the fashion industry Basic knowledge of different printing processes.
Digital Printing and Screen Printing Knowledge of current and current designs and brands Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design.
Capabilities
Contributions and practical suggestions on style details, branding, graphics Uses computer-aided design work and freehand sketching in programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and In design.

Professional Experience and Credentials
